Back at sea but the sun shines

Getting from Malta to our next stop, Crete, is yet another two days sailing.
I never mind that if the sun shines and it is. Average temperature is between 20°C and 24°C, so the wardrobe many of us packed has stayed in the cases.
Our captain gave is a run down of the weather in the UK - wet! Yep, wet and windy with one nasty storm leaving flooding behind on its wake, I noted more storms brewing in USA which, no doubt, will make it to our shores.
As a final hoorah to Malta, the guns were sounded as we pulled off the dock and sailed out the harbour. It was a full gun salute and followed us until we finally pulled out through the twin lighthouses.
So, this is day two of sailing and we have advanced our clocks once more (we are two hours ahead of UK time).
It's 4.41am at home. I'm awake, drinking tea and writing this. My watch says twenty to seven..... and it's still dark.
