Well, apart from the long delays caused by the road works at the M25/A3 junction 10, of course which looks like being chaotic until 2025.
Going through customs etc was a breeze, but then it invariably is at the port. We showed our passports, were photographed and our boarding cards given, then it was a straight walk to the shuttle bus which takes us directly to the ship.
Up the gangway to awaiting attendants who show us to our cabins and then, that's it. On board, on holiday, ready to unpack.
It's just gone 6am and I'm already on my second cup of tea.
Just watched dawn break over the massive wind farm off the coast of Bruges and am enjoying almost flat seas.
As you can imagine I slept peacefully, no movement, just the quiet purr of the ship's motors as we glided past the south coast ready to head off towards Norway.
Breakfast soon, but first....where's that tea I've just made?
