Dinard from my cabin

Since we've been here the tide has gone out considerably. There were no apparent beaches originally.

The buildings are very French; that chateaux style with pointed turrets and elegant windows.

There's so much space too, a really lovely waterfront area.

Looking out to sea and toward Jersey. We've watched a few ferries leaving St Malo one of which looked like the Portsmouth ferry which is usually next to us at the pier. 

Another, smaller one in the Condor fleet reminded me of those I've seen in the Channel Islands.
