Last sea day and pulling into port.

Our last push across to get us to our next port of call, Brest.
It was a pleasant morning which was spent in the Britannia Club looking out over the sea.
Slowly the weather began to change so we decided to risk a period outside on the Lido Deck.
Shirley, being a typical postie (reference to an old Cadbury Caramel advert) managed, in her haste to be there before she'd left, to trip over the end of the sun bed.
I give her 10 out 10 for style, her fall onto the sunbed was slow, controlled and graceful. Her thumb, however, took quite a pounding. Yep, will be keeping a wary eye on her.
I am going through the throws of a heavy cold so we settled for the lido, some sun (a novel apparition) and not much else. Avail ourselves of the facilities of the ship.
By the end of the day I was glad of my bed. Coughing so much has pulled muscles in my side. Not fun!!
Shirley is sore and the bruises are coming out.
What a pair we are.
