Having sat on deck 12 and watched waves crash over the windows up here, the captain came onto the speakers to let us know we were in force 12 winds (hurricane force) and relatively choppy seas. Fortunately the seas haven't been whipped up as far but the waves are huge even from here and I'm one deck higher than the bridge!
The shudders are quite something as we plunge down into the following wave having been lifted up by its predecessor.
The howling of the wind is also quite spectacular; we'll be stress testing the cabins again tonight me thinks.
