Broken cloud cover, capsized battleship and possibly the Northern Lights

It's not yet 7am and I've been awake since Dawn began her climb over the horizon. (wondered why we name children Dawn but not Dusk? Odd that.)
We entered the fjords working our way towards Alta at around 4.30am and made the slow but steady progression toward our destination.
No doubt the German ship, Aida, is on her way too. Being bigger she gets the bigger and let's face it, superior berths to our small but perfectly formed ship. So today we can but hope...... somehow I bet she'll already be there!
Anyway, it was a quiet night on the sea with only a small degree of swell. I slept well but woke early so dozed for a couple of hours.
I'm not due out until 9.45am but will have an early, light breakfast and then ease the ankle into some form of cooperation... ooh it aches. Think it's the getting in and out of coaches; they insist we use the back entrance which is best suited for those under 50 and related to mountain goats 😊
One lady who is recovering from a hip and knee replacement ended up having to be shoved from behind to make the first step and the heaved up the final one. Not polite in anyone's books. Me? Just pretended it was a rope ladder and hauled; what are arms for after all?
So today, yes, today. In the morning I'm off to the 2WW museum and the site of the sinking of the German ship, the Tirpitz. I then have the afternoon to wander and then off out again at about 6pm to chase somewhere where the Northern lights might make an appearance.
So far this morning it looks hopeful as there is already a break in the clouds and wisps of blue sky are peeking through. 🤞
